wan·der·lust
/ˈwändərˌləst/
noun
  1. a strong desire to travel.

My love for everything Japanese might have started when I was a little girl. My brother, a gamer, influenced me to become an RPG gamer when I was a little kid (I was in preschool). He brought home a Playstation 1, managed to teach me how to use it and whenever he was asleep or he was feeling generous, I would play.

When I was already in fourth grade, I had already played JRPG games (Final Fantasy fanatic alert), watched animes, memorized many Jpop songs and taught myself a little Japanese. That's when I told myself - "I'm going to Japan someday!"

Four score and seven years later  Now here I am, graduated College last March and I still haven't gone to Japan.
Though thanks to that "I'm going to Japan someday" dream, I came to love travelling.

If things went my way, I would have gone to Japan first. But then again, maybe I wasn't ready yet. So
I'm planning to go next year and I think I'm going to cry because it's a dream I had when I was a kid. As preparation, I'm refreshing my Japanese and trying(!) to study Kanji. (It's so hard T_T)

I love travelling for a lot of reasons. But in general - I love it because of the experience, satisfaction, knowledge, happiness that it gives me. It's also a sort of escape from my usually mundane life. A sense of excitement and freedom. A way of discovering myself and the world.

I have been to different places and my love for travelling keeps growing as I arrive at a new place and explore it.

After graduating College, my mother (who shares my love of travelling) has been booking a lot of trips recently and so after coming home from our Boracay trip, I thought of starting this blog to write about my experiences as I visit different places all around the globe.

And before I end this post, I'd like to introduce myself.

I'm Rachelle. I'm a gamer, bookworm, coffee addict, a NEET, I love cats and I love to eat. I like learning languages as a hobby and I sleep when I'm bored. Nice to meet you.
